The short answer is yes! Because our clients’ needs are always changing, we’re continually looking for great tutors to join our team.

Once your profile is about 90% complete and your application is submitted via email, you’ll typically receive an interview invitation within 1–3 weeks. Onboarding usually takes another 1–3 weeks. Tutors invited to join our team can expect to spend roughly 5 hours upfront before being matched with their first student.

Tutors receive a base rate rates vary based on education level and years of experience. Then each individual job will build on this rate based on the scope of service and the job’s driving distance. We pay our tutors well to maintian retention and longevity to best serve our clients.

Tutors are paid during the first week of each month for the sessions completed in the previous month.

Each tutoring job comes with specific scheduling needs. Sessions usually take place in a client’s home, a library, a coffee shop, or online. Our managers work with families to set the details of when and where sessions will happen, and these factors are key to matching each family with the right tutor.

Our tutors set their own schedules and choose the jobs they want. Most work between 1 and 20 hours per week. Earning a higher volume of hours can take time and depends on a tutor’s skills and availability.
