He has over two decades of experience tutoring and coaching individuals and teams. He leads Thrive as we seek to offer a unique culture and educational experience for our Thrive families and students.
Special Ed Expert & Tutor
Donna is a passionate educator. With a degree in Elementary Special Ed. She brings with her over 20 years of experience working alongside students with mild to moderate learning needs in a variety of contexts. She is enthusiastic, faithful, and a patient communicator who kids love being with! She is the friendly and supportive voice you hear when you first call Thrive. She also oversees and supports all of our special education tutoring.
Owner & Academic Coach
Also an owner, he is the architect and the jack of all trades. David has an undergraduate degree in Physics. and Mathematics. As well as a Master of Arts in Philosophy and Theology. With over a decade of experience, David lives to see people realize their potential and help them reacher higher through education. Behind the scenes, David builds all of our systems so our team can focus on supporting parents and students.
K-5 Expert & Tutor
Abby has a bachelor's degree in history and a love of the Spanish language. She enjoys exploring the many historical sites Colorado has to offer as well as the vase outdoors with her family. Abby is passionate about seeing the joy of learning spread. She believes that all students can flourish as obstacles that hold them back are removed. In addition to leading our K-5 team, Abby oversees our GED tutoring, helping those with barriers attain their GED.
Finance Manager & Tutor
Susan loves to travel to new places, bake healthy desserts, and brew her own kombucha. She has a degree in Public Health from Berkeley as well as a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. Her patience, combined with her 12 years of tutoring experience, helps her connect with students and support them in their academic journey. She also oversees Thrive’s finances and is quick to support our families when questions arise.
6-12 Expert & Tutor
Alex has a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Pastoral Care. You will often find him on a road trip, a run, or a hike, he enjoys seeing the city or tackling new terrain in the outdoors. You can find him spending time with friends or out in the park for a walk. Alex is a big encourager and aims to help students feel confident and capable in what they learn. He brings leadership to all 6-12 grade tutoring as well as ACT & SAT Test Prep.
